I find you get more of you money worth with slightly more expensive games ($40 bracket), like Warhawk or GTprologue.
Basically, two $20 games will not entertain me as long as one of those $40 game. I guess you get what you pay for too, but for me, it's always the ratio "price paid over number of hours played" that is important, and in the $20 range, I never felt I was getting a ratio as good as in that $40 range.

Think about it. If they would release Home, which is free, to 10 millions PS3 owners, what do you think would happen to the servers on release day? 18 hours download at 10 byte per seconds.
By releasing it like Gmail did, it will slowly ramp up, the servers never get extremely loaded, and they can adapt as the load is increasing.

Remember, the game is huge, so this install is only a very small chunk of the whole bluray, and that game is filling a bluray quite nicely, thank you... Many smaller games install that much, and that piss me off. There's some games that are likely not bigger than 10 gig, that install 50% of it on the hard drive or basically as much as MSG4. In this case, it's only about 10% of the whole game!
